Now that's interesting. we feed Zoe rc but she does seem to be itchy at times. I'd be intersted to know what are you feeding your pups now that has resolved the itchyness/dry skin? | |

| I switched my babys food from royal canin to evanger's since last week. prior he's been on rc for about 5yrs. seems like he likes evangers! kibbles are smaller than rc's and he did not have any upset stomach. stool is very good. will he loose some weight cause evangers has lower protein than rc? i hope! does anyone else feed their yorkie with "evanger's"? |

| My little one had persistent skin problems, ranging from constant itching (and scratching) to rashes. I was informed that a possible cause may be an allergy to corn - an ingredient in Royal Canine, which i had fed to my dog exclusively for years. Switched to EVO little bites, and within a month, itching and scratching went away! From now on, no more CORN. -j |

| i tried royal canin once but discontinued it. although nothing bad happened to my dog, for us, it was better to safe than sorry. a friend of ours told us that her dog got sick. and her vet told her to stop feeding her dog royal canin because the protein content was to high. which caused her yorkie's kidney troubles. it is ok for a puppy, but not for a mature yorkie. |

| My 4 have had nothing other than RC, and they are thriving. I also feed them corn on the cob, they love it!! Peas, string beans, cabbage, broccali, cheerios, and special K. No skin problems, rashes or itches. We show and win.

| Royal Canin doesn't seem like that great of a food to me. After all the recalls, I wouldn't consider feeding anything with gluten in it (corn gluten meal). It is also surprising that a supposedly high quality dog food has corn product in it because so many dogs are allergic to it. Brewers rice is a filler that lacks nutritional value.

| I made the mistake of switching mine from Merricks to RC last week because it was more convienient for me to buy... BIG mistake!! he liked it plenty but i think he is allergic to the corn or wheat in it because he's been itching like a mad man the past week. i felt so horrible i drove 45 minutes yesterday to get a premium brand again with no grains- i chose artemis because the first 5 ingredients are meat. it was a toss up between wellness, innova, solid gold and that. Hopefully his itchies will go away now....and his missing hair will grow back after being scratched off. poor guy I am a bad mommy. IMO- dogs just do not need grains at all. fruits and veges are great, but no canines grazed in the feilds like cows or something in the wild. the carbs from good fruits and veges will give them plenty of energy. plus so many dogs have allergies to corn and wheat i don't get why companies even put it in their food other than to save them money

| i offer the Life's Abundance all Natural Dog food and treats! There is NO CORN I have free samples available for anyone that would like to try it out before buying. Whatever you decide to get for your babies, just make sure to check the ingredients. I also would check to see if any of the products have had a recall on them. I personally wouldn't buy anything from a company that had a recall on any of their items and Royal Canin has had a recall. Just be careful about what you feed your babies as their lives depend on us giving them the best and healthiest food and treats! |

| We tried it, but it made our babies skin really dry. We feed them Natural Balance now.
