double set of TEETH

Uma just had 10 retained teeth removed! I wanted it done earlier but my Vet. wanted to wait to see if they would come out on their own. She seems more comfortable now. Microchipped at same time.

Our Cupie had a double set of teeth in her mouth. The vet stopped counting when he reached 21. She is 7 and fine now. Our vet calls the double teeth and bad teeth as they age "yorkie mouth".

get the teeth out - dexter had 10 teeth pulled when fixed and now he has a snaggle tooth and his jaw is off because of it and i only waited until he was 7 months. You need to do that right away as it will affect their bite, jaw and dexter has a snaggle tooth now I wish i would have done sooner.

What's a snaggle tooth? Maddie is starting to show double set on her bottom front and top front is slowly showing also. She's almost 6mos and just almost 4lbs. Her baby teeth are not showing signs of losening up at all. How long should i wait until she need to have them remove? Her permanent teeth are not completely out yet, just starting to.

Have it done now, if you're planning on having her spayed it can be done at the same time. Since I show I start watching the mouth at about 4 1/2 months, if I see anything unusual going on with the mouth I take them in.
