It seems like I remember someone mentioning a local retailor here in town carrying the Innova...I would LOVE to buy them a bag of that if I can find it. I know it's a great food. I will have to call around and see

Hi Brooke...i am just up the road. Do you want me to mail you a bag of the Eagle Pack kibbles just to get them through until the Canadae arrives? I can mail a baggie to you this afternoon. You will have it tomorrow. PM or reply to me if you want me to send it to you. I still have time to get to the PO today. It has not had a problem with the recall with either canned or dry. My girls LOVE it and the kibbles are tiny. I only have the holistic premium chicken. My girls hated the duck but they love the chicken.

I totally agree, cook for them the few days, that'll give their tummy a rest before you introduce the new food. You may just find they love home cooking and then you won't have to stress over these recalls anymore

Don't know if Petsmart has this, but CALIFORNIA NATURAL DRY (chicken/rice or Lamb/rice) has been good for us ...
I use the reduced calorie for Monday b/c I want low fat content since her tummy is sensitive. .. Good luck!

oh dang it, if you had posted this a couple of days earlier, I would have snuck some in your package. Locally, they only carry it at this one upscale pet store . . . I just love it and in fact I mix it with the dry merrick together then add the wet . . gourmet to the max for my babies

Since I was just recently caught up in the NB Vension and brown rice recall I am home cooking and using a small amount of Innova and Evanger's kibble.

Mine absolutely LOVE the Evanger's!

Hubby is calling the lady that told him about the recall today and is asking her where to get the Innova JUST INCASE they were to turn their noses up at the Canidae.... He said he is pretty sure she mentioned that she feeds her babies that and is going to ask her where she got it. Linda was kind enough to offer and send us some of the Eagle Pack...and since she is not far from us AT ALL I should have it by tomorrow so I think we are all good now - WHEW!

I can't remember the link but I know if you plug in your zipcode it will tell you which surrounding pet stores in your area carry the brand. Maybe you can google the link online.

And thank you so much for all your info! I think for now we are covered on the food part since Linda was kind enough to offer us some of her Eagle Pack kibbles UGH....hopefully all this recall stuff will END SOON!
