| I've used Canidae for a long time and I love it....we do the lamb and rice or the all life stages.....it is GREAT food! I haven't paid attention to the switching foods post...I need to look over it. I have two VERY picky eaters and they eat Canidae w/ no problem at all! -- in fact, when I open the container (we store it in an airtight container, they run to the eating spots!!!

| I used Canidae on my dogs and my Maltese loved it so much he gained 10 oz in 10 days. He was not given anymore food than what he was originally eating, so the vet had us switch him to Wellness and now his weight is better under control. |

| OK We are Canidae fans but there is no "best food" It's best to read all of the ingredients. Canidae was the food that saved us when Loki's tummy couldn't handle ANYTHING as a puppy. We still switch up foods all the time though. They've had Orijen, Evo, Innova, Taste of the Wild... And I feed them canned food for one meal and I try to cook for them sometimes too. Luckily his tummy troubles are over and Sam seems to have an iron stomach (except for when she pukes on my pillow when I try to sleep in.... gotta love her!) My point is that most of the premium foods are reasonably similar. It's all about what is best for your dog.

| Did you know that with higher quality foods you feed LESS food? You have to check the kcals on the back of the bag to see how much to feed them. I'm glad he is doing well, but I thought I should point that out for everyone. 1/4 cup of dry food is not the same across all brands.
