| What Is The Best I know we are looking for the best food for our pets . I have had german shepherds for 20 yrs and Wiz is my first little guy . Can any of you suggest foods you have tried that you consider to be the best . On the advice of my vet he is currently on Pd development kibble by Hills and the Pd tinned as well . I love to add a little of the tinned to encourage him to eat but the tins are 13 oz and take forever for him to eat . Are there other food alternatives you can suggest to a new Yorkie Mom ? He eats so little and I want him to grow big , healthy and strong ..okay big is out but the other two are in !! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | You're in Canada? Isn't Orijen readily available? If you want to feed kibble, THAT is a superb kibble!

| I think you're going to get 1,000 different answers on this. For kibble feeders, kibble is best and there is debate about whether high or low protein is good. For canned food feeders, that is considered best. For homecookers, homecooked is considered best. For raw feeders, raw is best and there are a few ways to do this too. I personally like homecooked best, so I can't give you brand names. If I HAD to feed kibble, I might consider California Natural but I would probably mix lean meat in with it. I also like Evangers canned food if I had to feed canned.
