| Calling all Poop Eaters! I found a Solution!!! Ok, it's been 3 days since I started this and it's worked so far!!!! I can't be happier to have found a solution! I've read posts about Annis Seeds but that alone didn't quite do the job so I added alfa-alfa sprouts and viola! No poop eating for 3 days now!!! (I saw that alfa-alfa is in several of the stop eating poop supplements so I decided to try fresh). Here's what I'm doing - I grind up the Annis seeds, minced up the alfa-alfa and mix it with all three girls food. since everything is minced, they can't pick around it. If you have a poop eater try it - please! I would love to know if it works for you too!

| It's a spice - I just got them at the grocery store's spice area. They are little seeds in a hard pod so I decided to grind them up just in case - don't want one of them seeds getting stuck in the intestine. Here's a picture of what they look like. anis-seed.jpg

| Anise seed is a spice that can be used in baking. It has a strong taste (like licorice). You may have tasted it if you've ever had anise cookies

By the way...how did you hear about this little concoction? When I first got Abbie, she used to eat her poop and then Max learned that bad habit from her. So if he goes in the house, he'll try to eat it to hide the evidence and sometimes Abbie will try to get some of the snack, too

| That just cracked me up! Made sense to me, instead of pouring condiments -- just pick it up! LOL!

| Corinne, thanks for the tip. I will definitely try it. How long can it last in the frige being that you are using fresh alfalfa? My Tiger loves to eat his poop but since Annika and Tiger have the same food, I will give to both. |
