| Update on Chewy... Great News... Chewy had his appointment with the specialist this morning. He said that there is no breakage at all and that if he saw more dogs like Chewy he would be out of a job. He said its probably a disc but we should allow nature and time to help Chewy heal himself. He needs to be in rest for about a month and finish the anti inflammatory, but other than that he will live a long and healthy life. Needless to say, my husband and I are very relieved and extremely happy with the outcome of today. To celebrate I am going to reward Chewy by feeding him his favorite meal...boiled chicken breast, white rice, with minced carrots. Moral of my story....please limit your yorkie from jumping on and off of furniture especially your bed and please use a harness at all times when walking your doggie. I hope some of you learn from my hard lesson learned. Thank you for everyone support and prayers and helped me get through this really scary time. |

| A breeder friend of mine 2 years ago lost her baby because of a fall... Jan was in the kitchen cooking dinner and her 3.5lbs adult "love of her life" was sitting on the top of a wing back chair watching Jan cook from the living room, there was a small commotion in the house phone rings, Jan dismissed it because she has 6 dogs and continued talking in the kitchen. Next things she knows she walks in the living room and found her precious baby lying on the floor, she actually broke her neck on the fall, Jan still gets choked up telling the story..she talks about her all the time! Glad your baby is ok

| Oh I am so sorry Chewy's story is having a happy ending. My heart stopped a beat for a moment. These fur babies seem to have no fear at times and I think forget just how fragile they can be during different situations. I hope Chewy's recovery continues and thank you for giving us the wonderful update on him.

YT Addict | Oh, such wonderful news!!! I am so happy to hear your great news. I have had my fears with Alex. He has tried jumping off the bed. He got shook up one time when he was a pup. He has gotten scolded enough to not to do it.
