| Bil-Jac??? I have had the worst time with getting Gracie to eat her food...and yesterday I went to Petsmart and there was a lady from Bil-Jac dog food there giving out free samples, I took some to be polite but when I got home I put a little in with gracie's food to see what she would do and she scarfed it down....first she picked out all the bil-jac and then ate some of her other stuff...without any struggle on my part....she seems to really like this food. I just wasn't sure if this food contained the right stuff to keep her healthy....it is puppy formula, or if anyone else has tried it or used it?? Thanks!!

| The same thing happened to us on a weekend visit to petsmart. Bil-jac had a rep there handing out free samples and demontrated how the Bil-jac didn't swell up and floated to the bottom of a glass of water and the other brands floated on top of the water and swelled up. They said Bil-jac is much better on their digestive system. We offered it to our dogs (very picky eaters) and they loved it so we switched to Bil-jac.

| I was at petsmart yesterday and noticed that it is the highest priced dogfood available, I was going to research it. I'll let you know if I find anything. Different name.

| Thats a coincidence.. when we went to Obedience class,, if your dog wasnt behaving well,, or doing what you wanted for the treats you brought , the trainer was offering BilJac to be used as a treat for them... and it was working,, I was wondering why dogs were so excited over DogFood?? But they were!

| Is BilJac a food? Or a treat? Sophie loves the treats, but isn't interested in her NutraMax food...If BilJac is afood I'd be willing to try it. |

| I bought a bag of BilJac today and Sophie loves it! It's not quite as crunchy as her Nutro Max, but since she wasn't eating her Nutro, I was desparate. Anyone know how high up the dog-food-quality-chain BilJac is? |

| If its the only food you can get them to eat then its what you use. Ranking wise I would imagine it's pretty low on the totem pole. Its full of by-products and corn. |

| Baby Loves Bil-jac!!! Baby eats Bil-Jac and she loves it....my breeder sent her home with some and I have never changed. In my opinion it's not low on the "totem pole" but I'm sure it's not on the top either. It is a good dog food, and if everyones dogs love it, then I think it's good. I have heard that it's easy to rank dog food by looking at the ingredients. In Bil-Jac...3 of the first 4 ingredients are some sort of chicken, whether it's just chicken or chicken by product. So, it's good for me...and I'm glad it's good for you guys too! |

| Sorry let me rephrase that........ Its low on my totem pole. I have always said people should feed what they like. What I like, you may not. Its certainly better than some foods out there. I choose not to use foods with by-products, corn, beet pulp, and BHA (chemical preservatives) |

| The frozen Bil-Jac is what our breeder feeds all her babies. She gave us 2 bags when we got Toto, but she wouldn't eat it for us. We didn't know at that time that it was normal for these babies to react this way when their life changes! Had we known, we would have "waited her out" and kept her on it. Our ignorance has produced a very picky eater who is now 21 months old and is struggling to lose 2 lbs.!

| Bil-Jac My Simba was brought up on Bil-Jac since he was born. He is 1.5 years old and once I had switched him to adult, he started itching like crazy. Bil-Jac is great quality but with the new foods comming out like: California Natural, Innova and Wellness products...the petstores (better ones) are no longer carrying the Bil-Jac. I switched to California Natural.
