| Pounce Cat Treats Do any of you let your dogs have these? If so, what are the after effects? I would imagine they are not the most healthy treat, but how bad? I try to give a variety of treats and, therefore, don't give too much of any one thing. Any help or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. |

| My little Pilla loves those treats also...maybe more than the cats do!! I asked my vet about it, because I didn't think it would be too healthy either. He told me one or two is ok, but no more than that. Same with the cat food. Our poor fur babies.....so deprived!!

| I looked into cat treats because they are the perfect size for training treats, but I also found that most of them have a protein content of 30% compared to dog treats like Pup-peroni only having 19%. Cat treats also usually contain a lot of liver which isn't good in large amounts (liver is actually on the do not feed list). I just use the Pu-peroni and cut them into pieces - still not great ingredients, but the first ingredient is beef and no by-products. I also use baby food chicken weinnies cut up for training treats. Cereal is also a good treat. |
