| Do you supplement?? Do you guys give your baby vitamin supplements? I've been thinking a lot about getting Coco some vitamins. I know she gets a lot in her food, plus I give her fruits, veggies, eggs (twice a week) and yogurt/cottage cheese (everyonce in a while), but I still feel like she should get more. How do you feel about vitamin supplements and if you use some, what kind are they?

| I just feel like there are probably a lot of vitamins that she is missing out on. The grizzly salmon oil provides some too but I'm interested to see what everyone's opinion is on this.

| I use Missing Link. I sprinkle it on their food every morning. My 2 picky eaters LOVE it! They even lick the residual from the bottom of the bowl It makes their coats nice and shiny, too! I know I've posted these pics before, but here are some pics of Hobbs before and after using Missing Link. The first 2 pics are before, when I used to think he had a cottony coat! The second 2 pics are after a couple of months of using Missing Link! Now amazingly he has a silky shiny coat! I love this stuff! And if you're worried about "over supplementing," it says on the Missing Link bag that there is no risk of oversupplementation with their product. |

| No upset tummies from any of those products. TJ's teeth are really good, NO TARTAR, Roxy's are not the greatest (she had double row when I got her and the breeder did NOT brush her teeth), but I do see that they are getting better. I have been giving them the Dentatreat for awhile and I brush their teeth too! (Although, I have been slacking these past 2 weeks). I am just trying the other two products b/c Roxy just had LP surgery 2 weeks ago, BOTH rear legs ($3000) so I am hoping that both of those joint support sup. with be a positive for her future, as well as TJ's b/c he has LP in his one rear leg. I haven't seen him limp now since I have been giving it to him too! I just figure that it can't hurt them! I think in the long run the results will be evident. Their hair is better too (soft and no breakage) and no dry flaky skin either. |

| Lola takes vitamins every morning. She didn't like the Missing Link supplement and our vet recommened the one she takes now. It is called Pet-Tinic. She loves it and it reassures me that she is getting all of the proper nutrients. We started her on it when she was a puppy. We figured it wouldn't hurt for her to keep using it.

| You can get it at the vet. I know they sell it online too. I think it is about 10 bucks and the bottle last a few months.

| No stomach issues whatsoever. I am also reading my current issue of The Hollywood Dog magazine and they have a recipe for a supplement it reads as follows..... Blend all ingredients thoroughly and keep them refrigerated. 5 oz Soybean Oil (or Olive Oil) 1 oz Cod Liver Oil 1 oz Wheat Germ Oil 1 oz Flax Seed Oil 1 clove of Garlic or 1 tsp garlic powder Use Daily: 1 tsp for up to 25 pounds 2 tsp for up to 50 pounds 3 tsp for up to 100 pounds. The magazine article says that this combo eliminates toxins, boosts the immune system, and stops frequent vet visits. Sounds interesting and maybe it's worth a try.
