| That's because what ever effects her allergies is probably not high the last few days.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I really don't understand, at all, why you won't treat her ALLERGIES, and are just wanting to treat the symptoms on the feet (!!??!). Allergies are *miserable* for dogs -- *please* please please treat the allergies - that is what's causing the paw licking and any other symptoms. You're focusing on the wrong solution here. I'll post this again for you: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...tart-here.html

| I totally agree with you Wylie's Mom about treating/checking allergies. We used the Nizeral AFTER seeing a vet, identifying the issue and learning that her excessive licking had caused a fungal infection that we treated with the Nizeral. Always great advice to seek professional attention before treating. Thanks for the reminder!

| Poor her. It's hard to get them to stop isn't it? This article mentions other things besides allergies.....maybe take a look just in case? Pyoderma, atopic dermatitis, yeast infection? https://www.vetary.com/dog/condition/itchy-skin It mentions weather changes too, like you said. We have an Aussie who cannot run in the park grasses in the spring and fall otherwise she itches a lot. So we avoid that environment at that time of year and she is fine otherwise! I hope she gets better soon! |

| Just make sure she does not lick the product. There could be ingredients that can have an adverse effect if ingested. |

| Then it's probably not a good idea to use it.
