You are right the index is 111 for baked russet potato but is 94 for baked sweet potato. The Gylcemic Load is more important anyway and white potato is much much lower, 25% lower probably because sweet potato has so much sugar. Given the oxaxlate levels, phytoestrogen levels as well as the fact sweet potato have up to 3 times the level of sugar. White potato is a better option. | |

| We just grabbed a few bags! I'm glad to see that they're in the same price range as a lot of the other foods we have fed. Teddy loved his sample that we got a while ago! |

| Received my samples today -- two grain free, the Boar and the Chicken formulas. The kiddos love it. Will be using the food for treats until I run out of the food I have in stock, then I will be ordering. |

| Not new. Well new to USA. It's been made in Italy for a while. I was extremely satisfied with the answers to my questions from this company. Here's a few responses. "We have 6 staff veterinarians and 20 other professionals with advanced scientific degrees. Two of our people are fellows to the European equivalent of the AVMA. We have 3 of our plants and do extensive testing with the University of Milan and Naples. Our company has been around since 1965 and is owned by the Russo family. The food you sampled was tested for 24 months in three published studies for safety before they were put on the market." I asked about the protein and fat maximums: "Our foods test only slightly higher than the minimum. It would not be over 18.05 - 18.10. You will feed less of the food than others so he will get less fat than you think."

| I have been using it for a while. A friend in Italy has been sending it to me. Its available now here and you really should try this food. Chewy is the exclusive on-line retailer but it is being rolled out in major markets in the stores. You can get samples on the Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/FarminaUSA Its dark, rich, smelly in a good way and just great a great product. |

| I feed it in the 'rotation' every now and then. The sizes of bags or flavors needed never seem to be available on chewy.com when I'm ready to order so I only get it if I decide to swing in the pet store over by my dads house, otherwise it's not sold at any convenient locations near me. No issue with the food though, he loved the flavor and always does well on it. There's just a few foods he does just as well on that is at a closer location or online shipping. I like using Chewy for the free shipping at $49 plus their other products they offer are what I order.
