| best wishes for a safe procedure. it may depend on how shes feeling. she may prefer to rest in her crate..I would call it when she gets home....most use the onesie with no issues..... when i was nervous I just double checked with my vet and he assured me of the meds he would use and also the dosage (anesthesia), they weigh them that very morning as to be sure the are administering the correct dosage. Ask as many questions as you need to. Also you might want check on best options if you find she is bond up after the surgery. That does happens sometimes and with keylo we did warm baths and mineral oil.....just a heads up your Missy may not experience but we did so I thought I would add that. We are here for moral support and best wishes to your Missy and welcome to yt!!

| Good wishes. Hope all goes well. We are here if you need to talk...especially tomorrow. It is a worrying time, whenever they go under, even if we know most of the time all goes well.

| I will be thinking about you tomorrow. I remember how nervous I was too but all went very well. Our pups have never slept anywhere but in our bed. When they were small they slept over our pillow. They still like to snuggle there the most.

| Thank you for asking today has been hard.... Leaving her there with an empty belly.. but the procedure went well, no complications and she's resting at the vet. We also decided on Micro chipping her as well... I go pick her up in 1hr. Can't wait. Hoping she's in minimal discomfort. Glad this part is done. On to the road of recovery thank you again for your support |

| my new baby was spayed by shelter....i picked her up the day after she was spayed and she looked fine. they used the self dissolving stitches- dk if ur vet will use the same. ***the important thing u need to remember is to keep her stitches dry. get a e-collar and u have to keep it on her 24/7 for a few weeks 10-14 days at least. it's hard cause i know dogs hate those collars but u don't want her to lick it. no water baths either. u do not want anything wet to touch those stitches. if those stitches open- the insides will pop out. don't use any meds on the stitches either or they might mess up. watch out for any inflammation, redness signs of infection. take care hope she recovers well. let me know if u have any other ?'s |

| Missy us home and resting tonight. She was soooo groggy and looked at me with empty eyes. So glad she's sleeping tonight. She was very restless when we got her home, couldn't get comfortable but finally! She ate a bit, and ate a little more in the muddle of the night, so far no throwing up from anesthetic which was a worry. Hoping come morning, I see a little if my old missy back. She was whimpering at one point, I felt so helpless. Hated to see her so out of it. I'm still nervous to handle her, the onsie is working well tonight. I have two days of pain medication so hopefully it will defiantly help her through these days. They truly are our little babies, realized tonight how much I love her little crazy personality when I didn't have it... Love her to pieces! Thank you for your info! Love hearing about everyone's experiences and advice xoxo |

| Bella was frisky with excitement right after I brought her home from her spay, but she calmed down quickly and rested quietly. My vet also sent me home with only a two day supply of pain killer. Since she was still feeling discomfort on the third day, the vet gave me more pain killer (the Metacam liquid pre-measured in syringes to squirt into her mouth), but she only needed it for one more day and then she was back to her normal self. It was difficult to keep her inactive for the full two week period. We did not bathe her during that time, nor did we have her groomed. (We had her groomed a couple of days before surgery.) Let us know how Missy is doing this morning! |

| Morning! Missy is also on Metacam. (2day supply) Today she is a little more like herself I got kisses today!! She had a loose stool this morning but, other than that eating and drinking fine. Her incision looks good, and energy level is up for sure. Getting more difficult to keep her inactive but definitely not complaining!!! She's my baby!!! Thank you for checking up!!! |

| Both of my girls wore a onesie after their spay. Worked great! Mina was given Metacam for pain and it messed her tummy up,gave her loose stool. Kenzie didn't even need any pain meds. She wanted to play, eat, drink and potty as soon as she finished waking up. Keeping her still was a bigger problem. Hope your baby recovers quickly. |

| Mina likes wearing clothes. So her onesies became dresses . |
