| I already posted this in another thread but it needs to be repeated. If anyones pets are sickened or killed with this or any other products it needs to be reported or else as far as anyone is concerned it never happened. This info is for Trfexis: This reporter did a article on Trifexis, it doesn't look good for our pets to be using this. I just don't get why a vet would give this out knowing there are some red flags with a product. There are other options available in the mean time until this is resolved. Owners blame 700 dog deaths on Trifexis | WSB-TV Atlanta Local News, Weather and Traffic | www.wsbtv.com This is from the manufacturer site.... For technical questions or to report a suspected adverse drug reaction, it is important that you contact Elanco Animal Health at 1-888-545-5973. Additional information can be found at Trifexis® (spinosad + milbemycin oxime) — trifexis.com. Alternatively, suspected adverse drug reactions may be reported to FDA at 1-888-FDA-VETS or http://www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/...55305.htm  __________________

| Lovetodream88, you totally misunderstood my post... "don't breed your dog!! it's irresponsible unless your a professional, licensed breeder! get your dog spayed/neutered so there's no chance of accidental pregnancies" the above comment was regarding the gal who is *thinking* about breeding her dog, is going to, then is not, now *thinking about getting her spayed*, then saying...she weighs this, oh no, she weighs that... and that's exactly my point when you post on forums...it's so easy to be misinterpreted... i totally agree that no one should be breeding their dogs just because they think it's a great idea or that they are going to make tons of money, oh and let's not forget the "they would be such cute puppies!!"... i've never had a dog or cat that was not spayed or neutered...i've had many golden retrievers, have a shih tsu now... all had papers but i never even registered them because i had no intention of ever breeding them... | I think a couple of posts got deleted. Someone said they were going to ask a question about Comfortis, and I posted a reply with info about Comfortis, and now I don't see either post. If you still need info about Comfortis, let me know and I will repost. |

| Cooper was switched this morning from Advantage Mulch to Tri fexus. Apparently afterwards so continued on one affair fleas can abound allowed to the medication (he's been on that aback I've had him, March of 2010). I had to yield him to the vet this morning for an abhorrence shot, this is alert aback November. He chews at his lower aback to the point that his hair comes out. Do any of you accept any thoughts on this? I'm abiding it's the fleas, he has reside ones ample on him now. Supposedly they will die aural 30 account of demography the bolus but I alone gave him bisected of it for now. I'll accord him the added bisected in a few hours as they said it can be as perous on the stomach |

It's okay to split the dose the way you did. After the fleas are gone, give Cooper a week or two to heal. If he's still biting his back, take him back to the vet, because he could have some other issue causing the back irritation. | |
