| But I want the info out there so people know the risk is death and this is not a safe medicine. To many people don't know. I am not the on who brought this thread back up but it is a public post board so if I am following the rules I could keep it going if I wish

It's absolutely unfair of you to go after this medication the way you have. You have no personal experience with it, just a lot of cut and paste articles. Why not take the word of people who have actually used the product?? Last edited by Cooper2010; 02-05-2014 at 04:26 PM. | |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Cooper, I realize that some people to carry on more than you would expect them to but Taylor is only trying to help, she means well. I would strongly suggest doing some more research and read the information that was provides about the product if you have not already and make an informed decision on whether to keep your babies on the medication. Ms. Taylor although you mean well I do believe that the OP has stated her opinion and will do as she sees fit. She has been giving a source of information and needs to make her own decisions on the care for her own pets. It may not be what you would choose but you did all that you can do.... you can not make the OP change her mind if she is unwilling to see what is right in front of her. Dangers exist she just has to see that and hopefully before something horrible happens. Take care ladies !

YT 3000 Club Member | chester uses the comfortis in the summer when we travel, same thing as triflexis without the heartworm preventative, capstar is a pill for a one time to kill the fleas, get some flea buster powder, it is very messy to appy but the best thing to use and it lasts a year. I dont feel comfortable with triflexis, feed with food only or they will get sick |

| I'm sorry, I did not mean for it to come across like that... I know how much love we have for our furkids which makes the emotions come out when we discuss things that can hurt or harm them. Like I said before I trusted this pill for years but now that it has taken a pet that I personally know and see what that family is going thru... I just want to do my part in getting the info out where no other family has to suffer.

YT 3000 Club Member | thanks wild blue for your information, I do alot of research of stuff as well, frontline just does not work for people anymore and it has alot of stuff in it, I have used the comfortis on chester and it has less stuff in it with no problems, kills fleas alot quicker thats for sure. I like the use least amount possible and have it work. |

| Honestly, I have to say its really hard to know what to use. Least wise for the average person. I personally have researched and researched and researched about many different things and Often I find there is just as much stuff that says an item is bad as there is good and is hard to know who to believe and who not to, who is a opinion you should value, and who is just talking out their butt for a story. ( sorry to be blunt there.lol and that is not aimed to ANYONE on this forum, but more towards media). But the point is, how does the average person know what is true, and whats not. alot of times it just goes with your gut. but sometimes your gut is wrong to. I truly feel everyone has good reason to feel the way they do, or at least thinks they do. But when it comes down to it in the end, the average Joe like me, just doesn't know what or who to believe, and ends up just as confused, if not more so, in the en as they were i the beginning. To me, I always feel like I am playing Russian Roulette no mater what it is or how much research I do. Just because a person is called an expert doesnt mean they are always right. Emotions do make people crazy and over react sometimes. .....who knows. I can say I dont know. I know My Shih Tzu has been on it for a year and we have had no problems. But I also know that perhaps he could some day, or perhaps Athena will have problems with it. different dog, different reaction to different things. but I dont know of anything else to trust any more then I do this stuff. Use what you recommend? Ok, but why should I trust you, I dont even know you...no offense intended, and that wasnt aimed truly at any one person here, but anyone here. but you get my meaning. research, again, that goes no where, just as many bad as good. Ask your vet....vets cant always be trusted either. Maybe Go will talk to me. Last edited by R-Teddy; 02-05-2014 at 09:15 PM. |
