| It is probably where they took blood from.

| Really? In the neck? She had her wrist bandaged and they shaved the hair on her leg so I figured they took blood from that.

| Okay, I googled and found a chihuahua forum where someone had the same thing happen, and 3 pages of replies all said it was from her either moving during blood draw or them blowing the vein/drawing too quickly. I didn't know they drew from the neck. Scared me. I'll still call in the morning just so they can make a note, but I will try to keep the accusatory tone in check LOL. I was about to go full on righteous mama mode. Thanks Linda...goodnight!

| Very normal after a blood draw, esp. for wiggly pups. They probably took blood and ran it hefore placing the IV.

| Rosie looks so good I had to go back and check the dates on the posts. Yep, that really is the day you brought her home. My Lexi was spayed last month and she made herself look so pitiful I barely recognized her. I would post pics but I'm sure she wouldn't want anyone to see her like that! Rosie looks great!

| She is well. I returned to work today but daddy stayed with her all day. Going to the vet in a few days for them to look at her incision. thanks for thinking of her, Dawn. She sends puppy kissies to you and your gang.

| Thanks so much for the preemie onesie suggestion! My vet was very impressed when I told her about it and it has made things so much easier for my furbaby after her spay yesterday as I have three other large dogs that would be trying to lick her would if it wasn't covered. I even found onesies with puppy print! |
