| So Long To CC Lamb Well, it looks like we are done with CC lamb & pearl millet. Coco has really backed off eating CC. When I offered it to her she seemed to really like but not anymore. She has been eating it because it's all I offered her. Today I decided to put part Wilderness and part CC in her bowl to see what she would do. She ate the Wilderness over the CC. I was actually getting ready to take the Wilderness back to Petsmart for a refund but now I wonder. Guess it looks like I will be shipping back the CC instead. I really hate having to try so many foods and possibly upsetting her little tummy. What's a mommy to do?? |

| I suppose I've been lucky. Mine eat home cooked food and also eat royal canin Yorkie 28 kibble and they love it. Good luck!

| Maybe she would like some variety? Maybe you could feed the Wilderness for a little bit and then rotate the CC again to see what she does? Several people feed a rotation with great success.

| I just threw half a bag of CC lamb away. I thought I would order it to give a different protein. My two refused to eat it. Macy, who never has eye goobers, was waking up with horrible eye gunk. After going back to CC Open Sky, within a week the eye goobers are gone and they both eat it without any kind of food mixed in. Not going to change proteins again unless I am forced to do so.........learned my lesson.

You know, I never thought about it but Coco had eye boogers too. Now, I don't know if that was due to CC or not as yorkies do have eye boogies. I still have the Blue Wilderness at home that I had tried her on before and today I bought her Blue Wilderness for small breeds in hopes that she will eat it. I have to give her something because I have to order CC online since no one around here sells it. I need to try the CC Open Sky. I've heard good things about it and I really don't now why I ordered the Lamb in the first place

A rotation diet is actually good for them. Mine don't eat the same food all the time. Aside from variety, there are other benefits to rotating between different types of kibble/food. Here's a link: Rotation Feeding for Pets | petMD

I didn't realize that. I've always thought you weren't supposed to change their food around. I wonder if you stay within the same brand say Blue Wilderness or CC or other brands that are really good quality foods that it would be ok? I don't want to mess up her tummy.

| Ahh you guys should donate the food you don't want to your local rescue!! Peanut didn't really care for the Lamb. I've had him on the Open Sky for about 9 months and he is doing great. I'm waiting for the buffalo to come out.. I want to try that next!

| [QUOTE=lovespandp;4305704]Ahh you guys should donate the food you don't want to your local rescue!! I just donated the Royal Canin that we had left over. I'm thinking about shipping back the CC Lamb back to Chewy.com and have them send me the Open Sky. Should have ordered that in the first place. Don't know what I was thinking |
