Brit- hopefully it will go away soon. When I heard it from Peanut and it scared me to death. Called the Vet and they said it wasnt anything to worry about as long as it went away- which it did.

| Just seeing this thread. Sounds like it has stopped. As for being forced to do bordatella, I would be going to another vet. I don't do bordatella and it has never been an issue. It is MY risk to MY pups....not to another the way I see it.

I mean, I'm not too worried about it, since he's not vaccinated for anything else anymore since he was 1 (except I have to do rabies this year) but yeah... No more bordatella for him though ever. I won't be doing any more DHP either at this point, I'm pretty certain, so I guess I won't worry about it. I actually had a dilemma last year about getting the vaccine since there is a canine fitness center close-by where he could go swimming but they required bordatella, and I ended up saying it wasn't worth doing the vaccine for. Since he's had it now, I'll take advantage I guess this year and utilize it a few times this spring and in the winter (while my dads pool is closed), haha.

| Sounds ike a tech was At the head of this.mJust lay it out for the vet next time. But if animals that are in quarantine that need to be in there then I would not want my pup jext to them. The techs spray with Lysol when leaving the room here...mNot the healthiest place. Lonely too if empty. If all other dogs are vaccinated then theoretically it is only your risk. And intranasal is highly questionable at best anyway. It us hard ti stand up to them. You'll get em next year.

| Yep....you always have the right to refuse. And, I would not allow them to put him in the quarantine area. Since you like the vet, I think a discussion with him will fix this.

| I hope Action Jackson is feeling better. I panicked when I saw this; it brought back very heartbreaking memories of the beginning of Prince's illness, due to his dental. I said "brought back" but the memories never left. It's time for Ian's dental, and I am a nervous wreck. Kisses for Jackson.
