It sucks though, overall I really like this vet. So I don't really see a reason to switch at the moment. We've been to a few and I've never liked them as much as this one. I'm kind of mad at myself for not questioning it a bit more though... ugh. And I swear every time he has gotten the instranasal vaccine, he ends up getting KC or some kind of cough thing. ugh. I know better. NEVER again. I'm not even sure it had anything to do with it but still mad I let them do it.
I mean, I'm not
too worried about it, since he's not vaccinated for anything else anymore since he was 1 (except I have to do rabies this year) but yeah... No more bordatella for him though ever. I won't be doing any more DHP either at this point, I'm pretty certain, so I guess I won't worry about it.
I actually had a dilemma last year about getting the vaccine since there is a canine fitness center close-by where he could go swimming but they required bordatella, and I ended up saying it wasn't worth doing the vaccine for. Since he's had it now, I'll take advantage I guess this year and utilize it a few times this spring and in the winter (while my dads pool is closed), haha.
