I just bought a recipe off pet diets.com. To be honest.. it is really easy. It does take time, but I didn't find it hard at all.

Unfortunately, the diet did not work at the time. I am hoping with our upcoming consultation will help and Taycie will thrive on it.

I have a 9 month old male yorkie. He is very active and is sooooo loveable, but I am extremely concerned of his weight. He is so thin.... He is overall healthy according to his vet, but I am still concerned.
Does anyone know of a good food that will help him with weight gain?

Which food did you end up deciding on for your Callie? We are at the end of our bag of Wellness Core RF now...I opened up our bag of Fromm Weight Management that I had gotten a little while ago. I know that it's grain-inclusive which isn't a huge deal (although I do prefer grain-free) but it literally smells like that cereal Grape-Nuts or whatever = / .

I kind of want to exchange it just based on the smell alone (most of the Fromm formulas smell pretty dang good to me!). Anyway, I was just curious if you had picked out a new food after this Wellness recall.

Because of Brister...we switched to Fromm instead of TOTW for kibble supplimenting, but we're on the BARF diet here.

Fromm seems great so far no change ovee issue dogs love it, sadly they liked the one with cheese in it best (got samples).

I like anything with cheese in it too lol

I do think I'm going to exchange the Weight Management formula for the Salmon Tunalini...Toki will just have to get a lot less food but maybe she will come to accept the green beans and pumpkin in place of additional kibbles

Hmmm that's interesting! I was going to purchase the Weight Mgt. for my dads dog who is really overweight, but if it smells that funky, that's weird. But then again, I think Game Bird really stinks! lol. The Beef one smells good to me though!

I was debating between the Weight management and the Whitefish & potato. I thought about exchanging it for the whitefish but I don't know. Toki lost over a pound on the Wellness Core RF which was grain-free so I'm gonna try Fromm's grain-free fish formula.

I wasn't delusional about the Wt. Management being filled with a ton of meat but it soooo smells like a bran cereal or something! I would def go for the Whitefish if you're still looking at a lower calorie formula....Toki went nuts over that sample!

Well I just made an account with Mrchewy.com and ordered her the grain free game bird recipe and one of there treats and a few other treats and I hope she will like them.

I think she will! Jackson has always been Mr. Picky Pants and Fromm is still the food he goes crazy over... and he's been eating it for over 2 months now, at least. The kibbles are super tiny. Also chewy is awesome, ships sooo fast!
