I am kind of in the same boat. After the diamond recall I wanted off of Wellness altogether, but my vet suggested I stay on it because anyone could have a recall. Levi had responded so well to the Wellness Simple Solutions Duck that I stayed put. It's the first real food that he has done this well on. Lily was on the recalled batch of Wellness Super5 Mix "alamoldy" ....needless to say I am done. I can't in good conscience stay with this company. I am going to try Levi on the Acana Duck and Apple....hoping this will be a good choice for him. I may put Lily on this as well. It is so hard to find a good quality food that is not a mix of several different proteins and that are not to rich for them to eat. I like to stay around the 25% point. I will let you know how they do..If this doesn't work I may ty the Fromm Duck recipe as well. Good Luck.

Riley has been eating Canine Caviar grain free Wild Ocean since August 2nd... so exactly 3-months now, and he has Never Looked Better. He "Still" gets extremely excited both morning & evening meals. He also had some of the grain free Open Sky and he gobbled that down just as enthusiastically. - I couldn't be more happy!!

Peanut too!! He loves the food, licks the bowl clean!! I just put him on the Open Sky "DUCK" and he loves it as much as he loved the WildOcean!!

I would recommend Fromm or Acana. I have had my two on Acana for the past few months and have thought about rotating with Fromm.

I hope one of the foods works and you don't have to deal with to many switches or upset tummy's.

I use Orijen for my three...same company as Acana. Acana apparenly changed their formula and made the bag smaller...not too sure about that though. They are a Canadian company and these guys have done really well on it.

My dog loves Fromm's grain-free foods! He is doing very well on it. I would definitely recommend it.

Is Fromm sold in stores or does it have to be ordered? I also heard Orijen is top of the line. Is that true?

Mine eat FROMM's Chicken a la Veg. They all got switched over in less than a week- No GI issues. Roxy 3.5 pounds went straight onto the FROMM. Buddy 90 pound golden was switched in 4 days. Cozy and Lucy took a few days since they were on a diet and I had to closely monitor there calorie intake.

I always think of switching formulas but once I get to the store chicken out. If it ain't broke why fix it?

There are stores that sell it or can order it in. They don't sell to large retail like Petco, Petsmart, PetValue, Walmart, etc. They sell to small privately owned petstores. Fromm USA Retailers You can buy it very easily online.

Orijin is a pretty good company but I prefer FROMM myself.

I use Merrick for Morgan// I have used Merrick for my other dogs/ my female papillion/ and My 14 yr old Female JRT have been on it for the last 6 years with no problems

I want to but I know nothing about cooking and I'm not sure what it requires. If you feel like it I would love a detail pm about everything you have to do. I worry I might not be good at it.

I am not a fan of merrick they have had many recalls and just not a fan of there company.
