| Oh no! The vet may scoff at coconut oil, but it can't hurt to use it. Hoping you can find the answer.

| Okay, so I started scouring her body and discovered both sides of her neck are absolutely covered in scabs, gashes where she scratched, and the whole back surface of her ears is loose like bad, bad dandruff. What can I do? Going to get the coconut oil now...but theyyre ALL OVER her!! Omg. I feel so awful. How did I not notice? Her neck is raw with scratches and bleeding scabs.

| It probably wouldn't hurt to consult with a vet dermatologist. I hope she's all better soon

He usually only gets a few on his tummy but nowhere else. His don't seem to bother him.... I don't think they are itchy or anything... They did seem to get a little worse got with the last bag of Acana so I stopped feeding it and switched to Canine Caviar... They cleared up. I also occasionally rub his tummy down with the Nutiva organic coconut oil... I think it really helps. I think they are some type of environmental allergy... to some sort of grass or something as Kristin had said. Or maybe something inthe food. I'm not really sure. | Another thing I do is give Riley some Nordic Naturals Omega 3 Pet... His vet recommended it because his skin was a little dry... I noticed Rileys skin is really Dry on the Acana. I haven't been giving him Any since I switched him to Canine Caviar and it's not as dry... |
