| We got our Duck and Pear!! I gave him one kibble to see if he would like it and he ate it up!! Then he looked at me for more! I mixed a little with his Ranchland and the little stinker ate all the Duck/Pear out and left the Ranchland!! Sooo I will just switch him cold turkey- which I have done before. Luckly I only have like 2 cups of the Ranchland left! Also I am in LOVE with this food, those pics do not do it justice, it is SO much smaller than the Ranchland! I dont even have to cut it!!!! Which is awesome for me! LOL Hopefully he does well on it, I am not "too" worried with the oats but we will see

Hope Pnut does well! Jackson LOVES his Acana too and he's always been picky. Ever since we started on the lamb and the duck flavors, he doesn't really even NEED wet food mixed in, but I still give him some for one meal. Funny thing is I am possibly going to buy a bag of the grainfree one next when his duck & pear runs out, because he prefers larger kibble. But the size of the duck & pear and lamb & apple is not *SO* tiny that he doesn't seem to mind. But it's funny, I can tell he prefers the larger pieces of the chicken & burbank potato (tho that ones gives him softer poos, hmph...)

				 | I'm so sad - I don't think this food is going to work for my guys. In the last few days Hudson has had foul smelling gas and Maddox an upset tummy. I'm going to stop the Acana for a few days. If they improve on their NV, I may try the Acana again in a few weeks to see how they do on it then. Maybe it's just a timing coincidence? If not, we'll just stick with NV since they do well on it.

				 | Unfortunately, I can't feed my Yorkie Acana anymore. He's continuing to have bloody stools from the food. |

				 | My Vet wants my dog on the Science Diet W/D until his bloody stools clears up, but he's hardly eating much of the W/D. Now I have to mix in the old dry with the W/D, which is Pro-Plan. Last night I am spoon feeding him the W/D since he wouldn't eat much, now that is ridiculous but he ate |

hand feed Riley when he was a teeny pup. He was a teeny bit finicky... and would get too busy running around and playing and all, I guess. I remember thinking the same thing. I bought a Trial Size bag of the Acana Duck/Pear and he did really well on it but he pooped almost twice as much, I think from the Oats, so now I am using that trial size bag of kibble as Treats which is Great, because I don't like to give him a lot of treats and I don't like a lot of things that are in a lot of the treats!! | |

You should be able to ask the store owner to have the Acana Rep. send some trial sizes for you. If they carry it in their store, then that means they are dealing with an Acana Rep and they place orders with them. That goes for any brand of food a store carries. They should be able to special order whatever you need at no extra cost.

Yeah.... I know they sell the tiny bags online for like $2.99 or $3.49, but then they add a Huge Shipping Charge to it so it totally isn't even worth it!!
