Royal Canin perhaps Pehaps you are talking about Royal Canin Yorkshire puppy and adult food. If you are most good petstores carry it. Petco has small sample bags for $1.49 each (in a barrel at the end of the aisle back by the wall) so you can try it without buying a large bag until you see if your baby likes it. I give it to my boys once in a while, buying the sample bag for an occasional change.

Yorkie food I have my boys mainly on the Eukanaba also, lamb and rice. Lamb and rice was what I fed my first yorkie for ten years. i do give the boys the Royal Canin once in a while and will occasionally buy a full bag if it is on sale. chiken meal, chicken, brown rice and sweet potato and eggs seems to be the main ingredients according to the bag that I am now reading also indicates several supplements specifically for the coat of the yorkie. Hope that helps, if I were you I would buy the sample bag, I cannot tell you how many mostly full bags of dog food I have donated to our local animal shelter since the boys would not eat it. I suggest that to all animal owners, if you purchase something treats, food, whatever that you do not use for whatever reason, do not throw it out, take it to your local Humane society or animal shelter or rescue group. It helps to take care of our animals who are not as fortunate as ours are.

Hi.. Gucci eats Eukuanba and now she is on puppy Lamb and Rice Eukuanba, she likes this. She refuses to eat the Eukuanba dry so in the morning I add a little piece of mashed banana she loves it. At night I mix in the a little of Authority can food, Chicken flavor she enjoys this also. I brought the Royal Canine for puppies havent tried it yet. I do have her sample table foods just a little. She is always begging...lol Gina

I have been feeding Gracie Royal Canin Puppy 33 since I got her and she hasnt had any problems with it except now we are dealing with allergies. I plan to put her on Innova brand dog food here shortly. No complaints on Royal Canin Puppy 33 if that is the best premium food you can afford for your dog.

I am feeding Royal Canin now but will not be when I go to an adult food. They use a lot of "meals" for example the first ingredient in the puppy 33 formula is CHicken meal which in a premium food it should be just chicken. Royal Canin was my first choice as well until I started doing research on dogs and nutrition especially for small breeds such as Yorkies the food you feed them needs to be high quality. JMO

I think ROyal Canin is standard if you want something local that you can buy easily in your town there is just a lot of other foods that are soo much better. I have been doing a lot of reading about Innova and I also called the company and the man was very friendly and explained there is no grains ect. and the research that has said carbs are unnecassary for dogs and everything. I just like the contents everything you read in the ingredients you can pornounce and almost eat yourself. Turkey, cottage cheese, tomatoes, ect!

hmmm...well, I've done alot of research on dog food and have chosen to go with Royal Canin Mini puppy food for my Yorkie. Royal Canin has a great website www.royalcanin.us with great information on their ingredients and why they are good for your mini puppy. For instance, although dogs cannot digest corn, they can digest corn gluten meal, as well, I read the 'meal' is a better protein source as it does not have all the water that a whole meat source does (sorry can't find the article to back me up). I tried to feed Brady Wellness as I too liked the idea that I knew what every ingredient was, I thought there is no way she wouldn't love this....she hated it, she wouldn't touch it. To be honest, my fiance tasted it in comparison and said that he wouldn't want to eat it either. It had a terrible texture and just didn't taste good. If anyone finds a kibble that my picky little yorkie will love that has better quality ingredients than Royal Canin please let me know! Also, I like the fact that Royal Canin kibble is so small....and completely geared towards the needs of my little 2.5 pound girl.

I switched from Science Diet to Royal Canine 28 for a couple of reasons. Buddy did not care for the SD anymore and Jake was getting too fat. (eating both of their food) Now they both eat thier food at a single sitting. (I used to leave it out because Buddy would not eat that much at a time) I also noticed that Jake does not eat his poop anymore and it does not smell either.

IMO I would rather feed my dog the real form of Chicken, Turkey, etc. rather than a meal. Most dog food companys are gimmicks just because they have an impressive website doesnt mean it is a good food. Sure Royal Canin has done their research on what Yorkie's should have included in their food for their coats and other areas but as far as the meats and proteins there are better out there. I respect your choice after all it is your dog If you yorkie doesnt prefer some of the premium foods then by all means feed him/her what she will eat I didnt want my opinion to be taken so offensively!
