IMO I would rather feed my dog the real form of Chicken, Turkey, etc. rather than a meal. Most dog food companys are gimmicks just because they have an impressive website doesnt mean it is a good food. Sure Royal Canin has done their research on what Yorkie's should have included in their food for their coats and other areas but as far as the meats and proteins there are better out there.
I respect your choice after all it is your dog
If you yorkie doesnt prefer some of the premium foods then by all means feed him/her what she will eat
