| I'm sure you've thought about food allergies and have pretty much gone thru a lot of the ingredients but just wanted to add that I look to see if there is anything like chicken broth in the ingredients lists as Hot Rod is allergic to chicken. Glad you found the tick, ewww. Hate those things. Mine, especially Maggie has been itchy this winter. We just turned the humidifier higher to see if that would help. I haven't seen them itching quite as much but they are still doing so. Hopefully it will settle down after a week or so. Hopefully the shots will help poor Uni. Hope she finds some relief soon.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Sorry, the doctor went to bed, that one minute test took 16 hours. Anyway the results say, "There is an 80% chance the dog is suffering from atopic dermatitis."

white potato is an inflammatory food, not good for allergy sufferers. Hope Uni feels better soon!✘❤

| Hoping Uni is feeling better and itching less. Levi is my itchy boy, the things that have seemed to work for him is Solid Gold Seameal, on his food 2x a day along with a little bit of the Arks Natural Royal Coat Express. He is currently eating Science Diet Natural Balance and has not had any medications this winter yet for his itchies.

| Happy to hear that Uni is less itchy since she saw the vet..now hoping that you can figure out what can be done to help her stop itching for the long term.

| I noticed that too. Would potato count as grain? I did notice on the NB bag, it says sweet potato(1st ingredient), but it also says potato fiber (4th ingredient). Could that potato fiber be from white potato?

| I emailed NB when they changed the ingredient from sweet potato to potato fiber, they said it was from white potato...it's a filler.

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | No, I think grain means the seed of something, but I'm sure potatoes aren't a grain.
