After scanning the ingredients on some of the Natural Instinct products, I would go with those which do not contain any liver to start out with. I would, for example, start with the chicken without liver. Then move to possibly the turkey, also without liver. Keep on slowly adding new proteins and keeping an eye on stools. After all seems solid for a good 8 weeks, then start on some of the products containing liver. I hope you let us all know how things progress. Good luck!

| Thanks so much guys! I will do as told with the lamb bones, unless you have better suggestions instead of lamb. What would be the absolute easiest for a newbie 5lb dog to manage with the least risk. She does tend to be a greedy gus. LOL I am afraid she will try to scarf it fast. She has always been one to steal food from the table or someone's plate if she could. So I just don't think she will take to it at first with grace I might say. LOLI didn't think that out very well then. I ordered a bunch of different and I believe only one kilo of no liver chicken. I did, after I ordered see that a store right near me stocks it so I will definitely start her on the no liver chicken an go to the store near by and pick up more as I need it before letting her into the ones with liver. Thank you! I wondered as I was ordering if she needed the liver every day or every meal and that was the only reason I ordered the chicken without to use in between. Once she is settled and doing fine on the diet how often should she actually get the ones with liver added? Thanks again everyone, I can not wait to get her started next week!
