| What is a good quality food and how much I'm still very new to this site, but here is my question. When I got Bentley, the breeder was feeding him Purina puppy chow. The vet didn't say anything. I want a better quality food for him. What is a good one. I live in the O'fallon Missouri area. I also want to know how much to feed him. He doesn't want to eat thoughout the day. He eats 2-3 times a day, but how much do i give him. He gets treats when he pottys on his pee pad. I am soooo confused. Oh I forgot to mention that I tried Cesar puppy (wet) food and I mix that with his dry food in the morning. Bentley weighs 1 pound 11 oz. All of your suggestions will be most helpful. |

| There are lots of good foods available at different stores. If you only have Petsmart & Petco type stores they have Blue Buffalo, Natural Balance, Taste of the Wild, Solid Gold, Wellness, ... If you have specialty pet stores they carry foods like Acana, Nature's Variety, Now!, Go!, Fromm, ... Some are All Life Stages foods and others in these brands have Puppy formulas. Also, some of these have small breed size kibbles.

| Goodness your baby sure is tiny! How old is he? He should be eating about every 3 to four hours and during the night as well. No snacks while building good eating habits. They are like little kids....they would rather have the deserts. I can't recommend a dog food. I home cook and I think it's the best and safest way to go.

| I just bought some Precise puppy food. Is this good? It said it was for tiny dogs that were weaning to 12 months. I'm going to try it. |

| Oh sorry, Bentley is 12 weeks old. He eats and drinks really well. I'm just not sure on how much to give him. I don't want to bloat his little tummy. |
