| oily skin problems my baby belle is having some problems. she gets itchy and when i rub her or scratch her its like her hair or skin gets sweaty or oily and get warm. i can feel it on my fingers and it has a smell to it but she doesn't smell. she has been on dr van pattens sweet potato and verison for a year or so. any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. |

| oily fur I had the same problem with my Rosie. I took her to the vet and the vet said that sometimes it is a sigh of a parasite. She checked her stool sample and sure enough she had whip worm. I treated her and the other 5 and retested the stool and all clear. It might be a good idea to just have a stool sample checked.

| doesnt seem to be a pattern. she doesnt scratch her hair off or have any scars and her skin isnt red or irritated looking to me. i dont think she is in much discomfort. but just wish we could help her out. thanks |
