I actually think she would be great and love agility. I had a rescue toy poodle that was also good at that. However she failed her final test because she stopped at the teeter totter to eat dropped treats from previous dogs. 😂
Molly races around our enclosed porch crawling under things and jumping over others. Just having so much fun. And really fast. Sadly I am too old now and have MG and have difficulty walking. But I think she could be a great contender. I don’t know of any agility classes or obstacle courses where we now live, or I would still give it a try.

Would love to see pics of Molly! She sounds like a fun puppy!

Maybe you could get her involved in barn hunts. Owners participate but I don't think it requires as much activity from humans as agility.

My question would be what would they do with the yorkie puppies that aren't standard if you think they shouldn't sell them? Not every puppy is going to turn out to be a show dog. Yes I think that there are many people who breed yorkies that don't look even close to the standard but many do and still might get not perfect pups. It's nott he pups fault. Yorkies were originally bigger then what they are now and they have throw backs that end up being bigger. My second youngest Ollie really shocked his breeder because she generally has pretty small pups but he ended up outweighing his parents by 5 months old and that has never happened to her before and he is about to be 3 and is 15 pounds. You have to pretty much go to a show breeder is you are looking for more of a perfect standard yorkie or at least put in A LOT of work and money to find a good breeder. Puppies have a puppy coat which is generally a little more fluffy and can curl a bit but their adult coat is normally much different so she probably still has her puppy coat. You also can't expect a dog to have the same personality of other dogs you have had because they are their own little person and going to have their own personality.

Perhaps I wasn’t clear, but I never meant not to sell them. I meant not to sell them for huge sums of money. Pure bred puppies that are way outside standard should still be sold to good homes but not for the same price as those closer to standard.
At 5 months old ours now looks more like a yorkie/Jack Russel mix than a pure yorkie. But we paid a lot of money for her and she was sold to us as a purebred yorkie. It was an impulse/emotional purchase. But she loves us and we love her and we will be her home forever. But I now feel it was not an honest breeder and we paid way too much for her. In hindsight we should have looked around some more. But she was the only one available within a 3 hour drive of us at the time.

Ok I understand. There are so many shady people and breeders out there. I think I have become very jaded with the whole breeder thing to be honest. I have seen crazy amounts wanted for dogs people know are mixes and they will actually pay it and its crazy.
