![]() I'm happy to report she is finally eating and pooping normally! She won't touch the gravy so we are taking it back. She also won't eat her Blue Buffalo anymore and only picks out the NB, but she seems to like it. However, she is more ichy on less meds. Today she doesn't get a pill but she will tomorrow, and she is scratching like mad. We actually shaved her body yesterday and gaver her a Schnauzer haircut, and you can see the hot spots on her shoulder and back where she scratches the most. I called the vet today and asked if I can put a cream on her, and the nurse said a Benadryl cream or a Cortizone cream. We put a shirt on her today to stop herself from scratching and that worked well, but we took it off when it got too hot and all she did was scratch herself. It's a good thing we shaved her, because it looks like we will have to keep a lot of shirts on her this summer to stop herself from scratching so much. Poor thing ![]()

Cortisone thins the skin. Use the coconut oil nutiva it is a natural antifungal and antibacterial as it was the only thing that helped dd heal quickly after using neosporine and hydrocortisone creams that made her worse. Keep a shirt on her to protect her skin so she does not bloody herself | |

![]() OK, I'll grow her hair out but she was scratching so much it was getting really matted and she wouldn't let us brush it anymore. It was looking a little ratty. I can at least see where she really scratches though, because before her skin just looked pink, but now I can see where it's red and where I should apply the cream. Should I get the raw coconut oil or extra virgin?

![]() Thank you for all your help, I really appreciate it. I'm ordering the coconut oil today along with some puppy tanks from PetEdge to cover her body. I'm waiting for another vet call too, because she is just not acting right. She won't play and is shaking. I was looking at her hot spots last night when I noticed some black circles, and upon a closer look it's dry blood and scabs from scratching. She's also starting to go bald in those areas. I can only imagine the scabs on her face, because she scratches there a lot too, but she has a lot of hair on her face so I can't really see her skin that well. I'm going to request some blood work.

![]() OK, I'll ask for those tests. I was at dinner when the vet called last night, and I missed it so I hope she doesn't wait to call back at the end of the day again. Holly is just shaking like a leaf.

![]() Which lady on ebay? We went to the vet today and our vet said no more Temaril or steroids, and put her on antibiotics. She said if she is still shaking on the antibiotics and her skin does not clear up, then we will do blood work. Holly is acting normal tonight, and the shaking has stopped so I hope it lasts! It's actually warm here, and we've had her in a shirt for the past 2 days. We took her on a walk and she was happy as could be, and has been fine the rest of the day. Now we are just waiting for her to eat, so she can take her new meds.

![]() Thank you! She is doing much better today. Still slightly shaky, but nothing like she was before. I haven't seen her scratch all day either. She ate breakfast, and I had my boyfriend break out the antibiotics as soon as she started eating.

![]() She is still a little shaky, but still no scratching today ![]() The Nutiva raw coconut oil should be coming by Mon or Tue, and I lifted up her shirt and her scabs are coming off, so I don't know if that's a good sign or not, but I think it's slowly starting to go away.
