yeah, i meant will the kibble contain ground up bone? also, I'm surprised to see that about the nutro...on one of the posts here once, there was a dog food grading thing, and the nutro scored very high.

| i started introducing aunt jeni's and cooking it first (my dog has ibd and very sensitive tummy). should i be adding supplements since I am cooking it. my dog has been on homecooked diet with no supplements so i am afraid she's not getting the nutrients she needs. i was looking for a natural supplements but not sure which one to use; any suggestions or feebacks? thanks

I just semi-cooked some for Izzy but on the website for Natures Variety that heating it will cause it to loose some of the Vit. and Mins. so they dont recommend it.. BUT MAN THIS STUFF STINKS.... At least the Bison does.... lol

i just want to say that i think most pre-made raw contains bone fragments, which is fine if the dogs eat it raw, but not good if they eat it cooked. so you might want to be careful with cooking the premade raw, you don't want to make it dangerous for the dogs.

the only reason cooked bones are dangerous; if u cook a whole bone and it will splinter when the dog tries to eat it. the bones are really tiny in the food; so that is not a concern. i am just concerned about the loss of vitamins in the food when cooking it. have anyone tried any natural vitamin/supplement? thanks
