The vet gave us good news about Maggie's knees. She said that it was still a grade 2 but not as drastic as she had thought the other day. So at this point in time, she is feeling that with supplements and exercise (and watching about jumping and so on) surgery is not necessary. Her other knee is just fine. Yay! Since her muscle tone is even in both legs, it is obvious that she is not having any difficulty using her leg, which we have not seen one bit of problem.

So no surgery any time soon! I am soooo happy! Thank you all for all the good vibes and prayers!!!

Bo, I'm so glad to hear the good news...I've been cleaning out the garage, on the road, and out and about, thinking about your kidz...How wonderful to come home and hear all the good news...Puleasse, don't jump into surgery for Maggie...I've really really really been researching, and surgery is definitely only for when they are really in pain, and having more bad days, than good...I know Mr. Rod really needed it, but, who knows, maybe Ms. Maggie will be fine w/supplements and exercise...I know, if I take glucosamine and chondroitan, my ol' knees are soooooooo much better, than when I let myself run out...Yippee on the good news and hugs and kisses to your sweeties...

Both Maggie and Hot Rod want to Thank Everyone for all the good wishes and prayers. They are both sending some really sweet kisses to everyone! They are sound alseep right now as they are so tuckered out from their big day! lol

I could not get one second of peace when I finally got home! They were stuck on me like glue! Hot Rod only left my side to go potty, lol. Maggie wanted her treats, lol. Finally got them to bed. I'll post some new pictures of them over the weekend with their pearly whites!

Awww, thank you so very much for all the good thoughts! They definitely helped. I was not looking forward to another surgery. Been there and done that once...hopefully that's all we'll need to deal with! I'm still in disbelief about it...Maggie doesn't wince in any type of pain whatsoever. She is constantly standing on her hinds. I pick her up a lot of the time because I don't understand how she can do that so much. She prances when we go for walks and when she sees a bird, off she goes! I am tickled that she's "okay". I'll definitely make sure that the both get the supplements everyday!

How is Sweet Apple doing? Have you had any symptoms lately?

Thank you. I am glad that it is good news. I was bracing for the worst. March 31st will 1 year since Hot Rod's surgery so I was really thinking that we were facing it all over again. But thankfully all prayers were answered and we are spared that. Yay!
