Need some good Vibes for Hot Rod and Maggie May today... - YorkieTalk.com Forums

If you get some time, could you please send some good thoughts for Hot Rod and Maggie May. They are both going in for their dentals today. I have to drop them off bright and early and then play the waiting game.

The vet also found Maggie May to have grade 2-3 lp in one of her knees and her other knee is loose as well.

She is going to further exam her while she is under. The good thing is that she is not in any pain and we had NO clue this was going on. Maggie is very active and is constantly jumping, standing, running and goes for our long walks. We were in shock the other day at their blood draw when the vet was examing them.

So please send us some good thoughts if you get a moment. Thanks!

Prayers for your furbutts. Ella has a slight case of LP as well. We haven't had any problems w/ it for around 8 months though. Hope everything goes well. =]

Hot Rod had his lp surgery a year ago the end of the month. He's currently on Dasuquin and I've started Maggie on it so hopefully this will help. Good luck with Ella. Hopefully Ella will okay.

Sending prayers to Hot Rod and Maggie. It is so nerve wrecking when these little guys are put under. Just think of all the good smelling sweet kisses you will get this evening. Jada has grade 1 LP too. Our vet prescribed liquid glucosamine (spelling not right) which I get from him, and her knees hardly ever pop since being on it.

Thanks everyone.!. We have to leave in about 1/2 hour so I'm holding them close and giving them lotsa hugs and kisses. They are both between my arms right now and Maggie has her head across my left arm, lol. I have to back space to fix all my typos. lol The hard part is not feeding them. Maggie is obviously hungry.

I did give her a couple of coconut chips, I would think that wouldn't harm anything as they are probably dissovled down to nothing by the time she chews and swallows them.
