| I didn't read all the responses, so I don't know if anyone has already said this. But Capone is a bigger yorkie 10lbs, and he does this from time to time. I asked the vet about it and she said it was fine he probably just didn't feel the tingle at the time. She said not to be afraid as long as he didn't seem in pain while he was going or as long as long as he wasn't doing a bunch of little pees. But he is a bigger yorkie and he goes once at 7am, sometimes around 11 if he feels like it and again at 6 and at 9 if he feels like it. Maybe it's something you can call and talk to the vet about before taking her in.

| Buzz is 8 months old, and goes at 10 p.m. @ night, along w/Apple I let them out about 6 a.m....If I wait 'till 7, he pees on his pad...He's such a good boy...Apple pees on the floor...She's such a naughty girl...lol...I don't get upset w/her, because she weighs a little less than 5 lbs., and I think asking her to wait 9 hrs. is a bit much...She'll go 8 hrs., so it's my bad, not hers...I just wish she'd go on the pad, but that's out of the question...It always has been |

| I take my little girl every 2-3 hours because she is pregnant. I am not sure if I really need to take her that much but I do anyway because I remember how I felt when I was preggers! |

| I really think it depends on the dog and mostly on the owner. My friend has a 25 lb. cockapoo and her dog pees about 3 times during the day on the pads. Her dog is the same age as Teddi (3 1/2 years old) and I told her that there is no way she needs to pee that much during the day and that she should be able to hold it. My brother has a cockapoo that is the sister of my friends dog and their dog holds it all day. My friend I think kept the pee pads down too long and she said even if she takes them away her dog will go into the kitchen and pee on the floor so she would rather have them down. I've never heard of a dog that big using pads and not being able to hold it but I guess each dog is different.

| I think dogs, like humans, are all different. Oliver holds it 9-10 hours at night, and has lately started holding it all day until I get home, he downright refuses to go outside for anyone but me unless it's really nice out. I really wouldn't worry about it (easier said than done, I know!). Maybe she's just been blessed with a large bladder! Wish I was! lol

| If Bandit sleeps with us (which he only does on rare occasion now) he can hold it for 12 hours. It seems odd though, because you're taking her out and she's being active and she's not going. I'd definitely ask your vet about it! |

| I walk Sasha between 9PM and 10PM and then crate her. I walk her again in the morning around 7AM, but she goes right away. I'm not sure why your baby doesn't go right away, but as long as she's going potty OK the rest of the day I don't think there's any cause for concern. Is she drinking enough water? I free feed Sasha, but that's only because I'm able to keep an eye on her most of the day... good luck!

| Well the mystery solved. Pixie is GUILTY as charged. This morning I was making the bed as I always do first thing and I saw Pixie run into the kitchen and I thought I would follow her bc she didn't go towards the living room where the ex-pen is and her pee pad. Low and behold that lil Sh** peed on my rug by the door. I was so surprised bc she has not peed on the floor in over 2 months. I think what happens is she saw Daisy go outside with daddy and she was waiting for them to come back in and decided that was a good place to go. So tomorrow morning I am onto her I am walking her into the livingroom and watching her use her pad. I would take her outside to pee but it is still real cold in CT first thing in the morning. She looked up at me like uh oh I got caught out!!! Well at least I know she isn't holding it too long.lol
