| Just ordered the Now! Adult bag of food from K9Cuisine.com I wish they offered different pack sizes...They only offer two sizes 6# and 25#...so I went with 25#... Side note: can kibble be kept in the freezer to keep freshness??

| Lily was still having 4-5 poops per day. Is this right for a 7 month old pup? Max's poops were his normal 2 per day. Thinking of trying her with the Acana. Max did well with Acana Grasslands.

| Hmmm, I don't know. With my large crew I usually don't have to worry about keeping things fresh.

| I've only had her about a month now. I started her on Artemis puppy at first and yes, 4-5 poops per day. I thought by switching her to grain free, that the number of stools would decrease. I did switch to Now! after the "go ahead" from my vet. Any thoughts?

| She weighs 6.5 lbs and eats 2x per day. I feed 2/3 c per day but the recommended amount for a puppy is 3/4 c per day.

There is only 1 meat addition in the top 5 in the bag, salmon and duck while being very nutritious are unfortunately 10 and 11 on the list of ingredients, down with the sun dried alfalfa sprouts? Protein can be found in meats , nuts and legumes, unfortunately most of what I see are fruits in the top positions. I see a lot of carbohydrates, yet no listing on the bag as to the actual content, this raises a huge red flag for me. I know that most carbs also contain fiber which is essential in the dogs gastrological function, however I would like to know exactly how many carbs my dog is taking in. As for fats, there is no meat fat added, just vegetable with vitamin E , which really is not a bad thing. I think my main concern is the amount of carbs in the top 5. | |
