| For me, I'd choose Orijen or EVO. They're all great foods you listed. Maybe you could get some samples and see which ones they like best? I suppose then they'll each have a different favorite. lol |

| Fromm Surf and Turf is what I switched too from Taste of the Wild. They really like it and it is really small pieces. They looooove the Evo Red Meat Bites though. I had a sample of that and they went crazy over it!

| Linda, Natural Balance will send you free samples if you ask them..i requested if they could send me their Sweet Potato and Bison the other day and they said they would send it right out. Id get samples of each before you go out and get the bigger bag...i cant tell you how many bags of dog food i've been thru cause Pasquale is so picky. Thank god the neighbors dog eats everything...cause he's getting the leftovers!

| Hi Linda, I've been thru the list also....Natural Balance seems to have the most choices for different appetites and they don't bag it warm so that it leaches the BPA's into the food. Funny, too, the favorite for my kids is the reduced calorie kibble. Good luck. K. |

| Linda, have you considered Evo's new Salmon & Herring formula? My guys wouldn't touch the Evo Red Meat but they love this new one. I totally understand your dilemma - Alexander (my oldest) is allergic to chicken so I can't feed foods that contain it, either. Good luck! Oh, I also feed Nature's Variety Instinct Rabbit formula.

| I really like that both of those comany's can disclose how much meat is actually in their kibble. Orijen 70% and EVO 76%. Huge confidence there. Seems to be a use of high quality ingredients. Especially orijen, who lists the suppliers on their website, and uses fresh meat fit for human comsumption. And my girl is crazy about EVO. Hope that helps. Have you looked at Nature's Variety Instinct Duck? It's grainfree and has Duck, Turkey & Salmon protein. They also have Rabbit formula, but it does have chicken fat...don't know if that would be a problem. |

| I will be watching this thread closely~ I don't want to hijack your thread but here is where I am at... After almost a year of switching food (oh to find that perfect kibble! ) Moose and Mimi have been on Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison or Potato and Duck for over a year now and was very happy with it. Except.... They have gained weight (just like their momma! ) so I switched to the Reduce Calorie NB about a month ago. Mimi is excessively licking and chewing her paws and Moose has terrible gas! I DO think its the CHICKEN in the low calorie, so I am trying to find a "low calorie" NON chicken kibble and it is NOT easy. So I just might have to go back to what we were and try and UP their exercise. I just might try the Taste of the Wild Pacific stream. Or the Wetlands formula....this one has duck, turkey and quail
