I don't want to hijack your thread but here is where I am at...
After almost a year of switching food (oh to find that perfect kibble! ) Moose and Mimi have been on Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison or Potato and Duck for over a year now and was very happy with it.
Except....
They have gained weight (just like their momma! ) so I switched to the Reduce Calorie NB about a month ago. Mimi is excessively licking and chewing her paws and Moose has terrible gas! I DO think its the CHICKEN in the low calorie, so I am trying to find a "low calorie" NON chicken kibble and it is NOT easy.
So I just might have to go back to what we were and try and UP their exercise.
I just might try the Taste of the Wild Pacific stream. Or the Wetlands formula....this one has duck, turkey and quail |

I know its the pitts....Dakota has severe alergies...so bad if he gets what hes not supposed to he will get yeast infections on his skin and in his ears. He is currently on hills zd ultra. Suki just scratches all the time, she bites the hair off her legs, scratches hard enough to make sores. The rest are ok, some scratch, some bite their feet but nothing as bad as these two. Except for Dakota, I barbque chicken breast and kibble for them twice a day forever. I went today and got a sample of the orijen. So far that one seems to impress me the most by reading their info and asking around. When I came home I gave them all one to see what they'd do, they ate it. Im anxious and nervous both about changing them. I dont want to get Dakota going again both with the yeast infections and his bowels. But Im going to give it a try....I also am anxious to see what Dwerten has to say about it, she's really knowledgeable about alergies, and has helped me with Dakota's bowel problem.
