| I definitely agree that people need to do all their research and be careful when trying ANY new food, whether it be kibble, homecooked, or raw. Dogs can choke on anything, even kibble, so it's also important to supervise meals carefully.

| \i'm a newbie here and although this thread is very old, I though I would share my experience with raw chicken necks. I have 2 yorkies one is a very delicate eater (Luca) and the other is a gulper(Diesel). I will hold the chicken neck for Diesel and that forces him to work his neck muscles more and actually chew the neck. This gives him all the benefits of a raw bone; digestible calcium and cleaning of teeth. Yes, it is disgusting but it's the type of thing we humans will do for our dogs |
