| Jackson has water all of the time. He has it in his room and in his cage. I don't want him to ever be without water. And he prefers tap water for some reason. |

| Our trainer told us to limit Dunkin's water intake to meal times when he was about 4-months old. He LOVES drinking water, and would drink so much he was getting himself sick! Now he gets water during morning and night time while his food is down, and he also gets it if he's been playing or after a walk. He's also learned to drink more slowly. |

| I leave ( and have always left) their water down all day. I have the water dispensing bowl w/jug that keeps it full , fresh , and cool for them all day.

| It's only filtered water for Sophie. (There is chlorine in tap water here). I leave it out all day. While housebreaking her I would pick it up just before bedtime and take her out to go and put it down again in the morning. Now that she's housebroken I leave it out all the time.

| I leave water out all day always have, from puppy to adult. I use bottled water or if I am out, I boil water and let it cool then serve. With small dogs they should always have it out. I take it away at night for my Bull terrier but only because she will drink more then she has too and pee inside |

| We leave it out at all times here too. All of us use tap water (all being my DH, myself and our two furbabies) however, we double filter it. First we filter thru Pur connected to our faucet and then we run it through Brita. Just gives me a better feeling about it ![]() While I may joke about this, I did have Zoey turn her nose up to her water over a couple of days when DH just gave her straight tap water upstairs. So there may be method behind my madness

"Well" water is usually sourced from a well located on your land, and "tap" water is what most cities, towns, etc. bring into your home from city water lines. We leave water out 24/7 but then we have no puppies we're training and I'm home all day for the frequent potty breaks.

| I really appreciate all the advice on how often to offer water, now my big question is flying with my baby. I am going on a 3 hour flight carrying her on with me, but I am concerned since once we are at airport and on plane she can't get out. How will she react needing to potty or something. Has anyone out there flown with their babies and have some good advice for me? |
