| Skin itching My Napolean itches a lot. Bites his feets like he has fleas but doesn't have fleas. After taking him to groomers, he always has these little pimples pop up one pimple hear and there, not clustered. I have wondered if he just gets so nervous and upset that he is away from me has any effect. He has no fleas, bathed with appropriate shampoo, no flacky skin ( a little oily). I have noticed after he is bathed he has an ordor which he never use to have. The vet just says he may have an alergy to something. Can he be tested for allergies? Has anyone had the same things happen to their baby? |

| skin itching Hi I just joined YorkieTalk and I have the same problem but even more so. I have two yorkies, Misha and Toby and they both have these bumps. Some look like dry skin and others look like pimples or blackheads. The vet said it was a bacterial infection, and gave them an antibiotic, but it hasn't helped. They actually seem to be getting worse. Quote:

| My Brooklynn itches like that alot too. I have not noticed any bumps. I was thinking about getting a different puppy shampoo to see if that helps. I hope you both find solutions! Good Luck.

| My yorkie has allergies too. She doesn't really show signs of any bumps, however, when she chews or scratches too much in one area, she does get the area red and irritated. I have tried changing her diet, with no change. It's obviously not food allergies. I don't really let her outside too much, she is trained on puppy pads. I notice when she is outside, they seem to be worse. (different times of the year) I also notice when we are at my mother's house, they aren't as bad. I have 2 cats and wonder if dogs can be allergic to cats?
