| Bully sticks/toys..Question for those of you who allow yorkies on furniture. Bailey cannot get up on my sofa or chairs because he isn't big enough to jump. and I don't have access for him, but I have a ramp for my bed and he is constantly bringing his toys up there, I don't mind that, but today I gave him his first bully stick, and he just had to go up on my bed and take the bully stick with him, I tried taking it away and he started looking everywhere for it, and I felt bad it is all gooey on the end Does everyone else's yorkie's carry their "property" on furniture, and do you allow it?

| Yes, mine have me trained. I have steps so they can get on the sofa, but I keep a thow over the sofa to protect it. I actually have a few throws so that I can rotate them out. As for the bed... well I just make sure I keep the covers pulled up over the pillows so nothing gets on the sheets. I just use a lightweight, washable bedspread anyway so it's easy to throw in the wash as needed. It sounds like he likes his first bully stick?

| Peanut can not jump on our couch so we have this little step stool and I trained him to use it to jump on the couch. I dont mind him on the couch at all, or when he brings up his bully sticks, pig nose.. etc. I noticed the bully sticks dont mess up the couch at all, he also will chew on his bull stick while laying on my clothes and it has never made a mess or anything.

| one thing they love to do is eat their bully sticks by you.. lexi needs to be with me when she has hers, so if its on the couch, so be it.. i just throw a blanket under her... life is too short to worry about her messing anything up. and just to let you know, my furniture is brand new, not even a month old..

| I agree, it seems to make them sooo happy, clothing can be washed very easily! Bailey loves his bully stick I noticed too that they like to be close to you when they chew, Bailey plops himself and whatever he is chewing on my lap, it just makes you love them all the more!

| Patrick and Niko seemed to enjoy their bully sticks most when they are sitting on or near me. I usually put a little blanket on my lap and Patrick sits and chews while I watch TV. Niko sits as close to me as he can get when chewing. And they both love it if my husband or I actually help hold the bully stick while they chew. As far as toys on the bed...I wake up every morning surrounded by squeaky squirrels, skunks, chickens..not to mention Patrick's bunny slipper, which must be nearby at all times! I wonder how they get any sleep at all with all the toy migration that goes on in the night. But they never wake me up while they are doing it

Same here, I use to hear Bailey go up and down the ramp numerous times at night getting his play things, now I guess I'm use to it and sleep right through it

| Cannot stand chew residue on my couch!! grrr lol Lola isn't too bad, but my Bull terrier is horrible with it. I try to not allow chews or bones on the couch. I could put a throw over it but I just prefer no eating on the couch for anybody!! But really, who listens to mom anyways? |
