| What do you feed your pup Hi, I'm new to this forum. My fur baby is Huggy who will be 6 months on 8/10. I've been feeding him Nutro Ultra (since that is what we feed our mini goldendoodle - and Huggy was always stealing his food). Does anyone else use Nutro Ultra or have any comments? |

I don't, and wouldn't ever feed Nutro. There have been reports of sickness and death from it. This thread contains some good recommendations for higher quality food choices. Orijen, EVO, Wellness... Here is a website with some good information http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/ Last edited by AMD; 07-31-2009 at 09:17 PM. | |

| Orijen Orijen is the BEST food ever!!! I only say this because Dooie is the pickiest Dog, he wont even eat carrots, apples, bananas or ANY people food really, but as soon as I put down his Orijen (adult RED formula) he just chomps away!! The has got to mean something..... They are a very good manufacturer and are based out of my home province too!!

| Use the SEARCH tab on YorkieTalk and type in "Orijen" read all the different things that pop up about it. It's awesome.

| I feed my 5 month Tinky Natural Balance Ultra Premium for puppies through adults. She's doing really well and her poop is solid.

| I use Blue Buffalo. It has no soy, wheat, or corn. I noticed that my dog is allergic to wheat or corn. |
