| My girl is on California Natural, a limited ingredient food made by the Natura company (which I really like). |

| I feed Wookie Innova EVO and little home cooked patties. I tried the raw diet earlier this year because of all the great benefits I have heard about it, but it did not agree with Wookies system at all. He does great on the Innova and his home cooked. But I still feel raw is a great way to go if you can do it too. I get the Innova from a pet food delivery service that we have here, but I no in some smaller areas its hard to find. Petco has started selling a lot of the better quality foods too like Wellness, Solid Gold and Natural Balance. This is probably going to be something that you will just have to try and retry and keep trying. Just when I think I have it figured out, I learn something else that makes me want to try to do better!!!

| I imagine the Purina could be a big contributor to their lack of coat. As I mentioned earlier, Wellness would be a nice switch. They also have a very nice line called CORE. Otherwise, I would recommend Orijen. Just be sure to switch slowly. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Okay, great, and thanks. I have one bag left of Pro Plan so I'm going after work to buy Wellness so I can begin the switch

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Your going to get MANY different recommendations on food as we all feed our babies different. I myself prefer Life's Abundance Premium Health Food. I can feed it to my puppys and adults and not have to worry about changing their food. I like it because there are no preservatives, its made FRESH and not stored, and No artificial flavors No artificial colors No corn or corn gluten No wheat or wheat gluten. Just works for me because I don't want my babies getting all that junk. Shipping is cheap too no matter how much you order and only takes 2 days. So Life's Abundance is my preference. There is more info on it in the link in my signature. its just a good food and even my picky eaters love it. Good luck in whatever you choose though!!! |

| Scooter is on Wellness and he really likes it. We used the Puppy kind until he was old enough and have played around with different kinds since. He is currently doing a combination of Wellness Super5 Chicken and Wellness Core. I highly recommend Wellness.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yep, I ran to Petco right after work and bought a big bag! Thank you so much!!! I'm excited to make the switch!!! It's funny because I wondered about Purina, it sounded a bit grocery store to me and I actually called the vet and asked and they said it was fine I guess everyone's different I'm glad you told me. Thank you very much!!!

I am with you! I LOVE Life's Abundance. I studied a lot of foods and it by far out weighed everything! Not to mention being able to personally speak to the Vet who formulated it! I can't believe how excited ALL my dogs are when I put food out. I feel like a wonderful Mommy serving them the best!! I also love having it on autoship! It comes to us & we never run out thanks to autoship (and savings!) www.healthyhappypets.biz | |
