| Royal Canin We just realized our baby boy Bulter should have been off the Royal Canin Babydog 30 a few months back and on to the Mini Puppy 33. Oh well. Checked the ingredients its basically the same thing And at that cost I don't want to throw this bag away. We start him on the 33 when this one runs out. Anybody have any input. He's huge bty 8 pounds at 18 weeks and not even close to being overfed! |

| It's fine. Just start him on the puppy food when you run out of babydog. Or you could mix the two together like Marci said. |

| He should be fine. I would consider switching foods to premium brand like Innova. Royal Canin contains corn as a fillers which a lot of dog are allergic too. Hope this helps

Thor's Human Donating Member | Is Royal Canin not a premium food? I am trying it out with Thor (adult yorkie formula, 28) and he is wolfing it down. He actually ate 1/2 cup of dog food today, which is a record. Of course, I always get really excited when Thor eats a new dog food, I buy an enormous bag, and he gets tired of it after a week. I am starting to wonder if it's simply a variety issue. OR, maybe the food gets stale after a few weeks? With an average consumption of 1/4 cup a day, it takes us a loooooong time to go through a bag.

| suki eats royal canin too and is doing fine(actually doing great since she eats a lot), most of the people here dont take the brand good coz of the corn in the ingredients. but so far my little baby seems to be doing good on it. it always helps when your baby enjoys the food.

Hi! You were one of those who was kind enough to reply when we were devastated over Francie's 15 extractions! Thank you. The dogs love Royal, and the kibble is smaller than most so for Thor and Francie probably a good thing with the teeth issue. It's supposed to be good for dental as well. Glad cute Thor is eating. We put a little water on it to release the aroma and soften it up. It actually smells really good too! Take care and thanks again. Matt and Leslie, Fran and Butler. | |

| Francie loved Wellness too, but eventually she got away from it. I'm told it the kibble can be extremely rich. She began not tolerating it well. I made the mistake of not taking her off a mix of wet and dry until she was 5. I am convinced this contributed to her dental issues. Also we took her off rawhide which was a huge mistake for anyone considering it. On that anybody know what the negatives of the Bullies are despite the fact Yorkies devour them!! |

I wanted to try Artemis too and I requested samples but haven't gotten them yet... they're on their way even though I already bought a bag of Innova so I probably won't want to switch.

But what do you mean taking her off rawhides was a mistake? Do you mean something bad happened with the bully sticks?

| Yep eyes a little more goopy on Wellness. Francie is on Solid Gold Holistic now. Never hear anyone talk about it. She loves it, but with Butler now on board I'm going to switch to Royal so I can feed them both the same, or try Innova, hearing that name alot! Britster, we took her off the rawhide because she was not tolerating it. Had never heard of Bullies until YTC! We really think this hurt her teeth by not having them, in 7 years she lost 1 incisor, which I showed the vet and she Poo Pooed me. And a top incisor which had always gotten things caught in it so it was no suprise to see it loose. The rest were white as snow! Just can never tell. We still feel the extractions were excessive and are seeking a new Vet. Thank you. |
