Royal Canin is not
BAD, but it's not the best either. A lot of people don't like it because it contains corn which is just a filler and many dogs are allergic to it. Many yorkies on here do absolutely fine on it though. If Thor is a real picky eater though and he's liking it - I'd keep him on it
If he's already done w/ the Royal Canin, I'd maybe try a different brand. Petco has begun selling some of the better foods out there now, like Wellness, etc.
