On the heartworm, flea, tick, internal parasite sticky can we note which is best for liver problem dogs? Note: Revolution is the only topical that kills Sarcopic mange. I also think it is one drug, as opposed to dosing with a combo or two different meds. Which is safest?

I have heard of Interceptor, Heartgard (not Plus) and Revolution all being used. You can talk to your vet about giving the Heartgard every 42 days instead of every 30 because there is supposed to be a 15 day grace period. I'm not so sure anyone knows which the best one is but Ellie has liver issues and I use Interceptor. Dr. Dodds says Heartgard though.

I really don't have websites bookmarked for any of this and just try to remember it all or do quick searches often. There don't seem to be many great studies or articles about these meds.
