I have heard of Interceptor, Heartgard (not Plus) and Revolution all being used. You can talk to your vet about giving the Heartgard every 42 days instead of every 30 because there is supposed to be a 15 day grace period. I'm not so sure anyone knows which the best one is but Ellie has liver issues and I use Interceptor. Dr. Dodds says Heartgard though.
