| Does anyone give royal canin? My DH brought home a 10lb bag and it has so many ingredients that I don't want to use. He got it for our Granddaughter's 4 month old Pom.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I feed it to Joey, and he doing well on it, and isn't allergic to the corn. It's not rated very high, but I've tried switching to other higher rated foods, and he's experienced problems. He had a lot of brown eye discharge with one high rated brand, and huge poop, so we went back to RC for now. We use the Yorkshire Terrier formula.

| I too switched to RC and Maddie was okay for about a month or so. Then she got VERY itchy. I don't know for sure it was the food, the vet said it was just dry skin b/c of the cold weather and dry heat indorrs. However after switching her food she has improved 100%. I switched her to California Natural because it is very limited ingredients. THey are r"ated" about the same on rating sites. |

| My crew eat it, Mini Indoor Adult 27. They do not have problems other than they are bottemless pits.

| I used Royal Canin on the boys for 1 year. They did great, small stools,no stomach or skin problems. But, both dogs teeth started to get alot of tartar and plaque on them. I checked ingredients and they have a glaze like coating on the food. It's bad for their teeth. I am in the middle of switching them to Wellness Super 5 Mix as I type this. It has de-boned Chicken in it. They were slow to take to it last week when we started, But now they eat it with no complaints. The pieces are a little larger, But Sammy is 15 pounds and Baron is 7 pounds. RC had a 2 star rating on the food ratings charts and Wellness had 6 stars. So I am happy with my choice to switch to a better ingredient dog food.

| This is Babydog 30 formula, I am going to try it. She does not have him on any special formula. He started eating Tricksies Life's Abundance mixed with a little wet Pedigree for the last 5 days and has had no problems. Thanks to you all.
