| Welcome to YT. I would suggest that you try to feed your sweetie small amounts very often and see if that helps. Maybe some BeneBac on her food for a few days. Or maybe, just keep on doing what you are doing. My point is, that sometimes things don't change no matter what we do because they are normal. Ask your vet if you need to watch her foor intake. IF HER WATER INTAKE IS EXCESSIVE and she pees a lot, there are tests that your vet might want to run. Give her smoochies from Rini's cuties. |

| Welcome to YT! I hope you come back and post again. I think you just used the term Teacup to mean she was smaller than normal. I also have a coupl e of "teacup" yorkies. as do many others on this forum. This is a common usage of the term and I bet she is adorable. I would love to see if you could post some pictures. Welcome again. |

| Imuller, I really hope you post back and that I didn't offended you in anyway regarding the term "Teacup". It wasn't my intention. I hope you little one is doing ok. I will love to see pics of your little furbaby. Rini, gave you very good advise. Please keep us posted. |

| thank you!! Hello everyone, i'm back I haven't had time to post but I really appreciate all the replies I wasn't offended by anyone, you guys were awesome, but yes, I used the term "teacup" just to mean she's smaller than usually yorkies are, I mean, she's 2 months old and I can fit her in the palm of my hand, unlike my other yorkie, they're not from the same litter but they're the same age, and he's double her size. Anyway, I'm happy I had a chance to talk to a friend's aunt who's a vet. She told me that there's nothing wrong with her, since she's so small It's easy to get bloated, but she's very healthy and that, as some of you said (thank you), I sould just keep free feeding her as I was doing. ps: sneri13 I'm in Delran, what about you? | your pup is adorable So glad you were able to speak with a vet; when it comes to these very little ones, you can never be too careful. When you have a minute take a couple pieces of dry food and put it in water and you can see how much larger it gets...it really does bloat their little belly. I agree with Adm. they need plenty of water. Good Luck with your new little adorable pup and ask any question !!! Will we try to help. I reread and I don't want you to think the dry food is not good for them, it is. There are threads you might read later on quality foods ( I don't know if you said what you are feeding) If you decide to change later, it should be done in a very gradual way over a 7 day period. Mostly old food 1st day and a little more new and a little less old each day.
